Professor Ren Kangning of Hong Kong Baptist University Visits Thunder Research Institute for Guidance

On 1 August, Professor Ren Kangning of Hong Kong Baptist University and his delegation visited Thunder Research Institute for guidance. Group Deputy General Manager Chen Yu extended a warm welcome to Professor Ren and his delegation.

Professor Ren has long specialised in research concerning innovative microfabrication technologies, functional coatings based on micro-nano structures, rapid medical diagnostic technologies utilising microfluidic chips, and novel drug development techniques. Over the past five years, he has published numerous academic papers as corresponding author in internationally renowned journals such as PNAS and The Innovation. With a Google Scholar h-index of 35, he has consistently ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally according to the Stanford University list for several consecutive years, demonstrating outstanding academic achievements.
